In breve. Numas Study per Android non ha account, non ha server propri, non usa analitiche né pubblicità e non invia nulla al Titolare. Dispense, domande, risultati, piano di studio, quaderno di laboratorio e anagrafica restano sul dispositivo. Le uniche comunicazioni verso l'esterno sono quelle che l'utente attiva da sé: i testi inviati al fornitore di intelligenza artificiale scelto con la propria chiave API, e la gestione dell'abbonamento da parte di Google Play.

2. Natura dell'applicazione
Numas Study è uno strumento di supporto allo studio: organizza dispense e panieri di domande, genera quiz con ripasso programmato, riassunti, correzioni e spiegazioni con modelli di intelligenza artificiale, offre strumenti di chimica che funzionano senza rete, un piano di studio e un quaderno di laboratorio con esportazione della relazione. Non è affiliata ad atenei o piattaforme di e-learning, non certifica risultati accademici e non effettua valutazioni ufficiali.
L'applicazione è rivolta a studenti universitari e delle scuole superiori. Non è destinata a minori di 13 anni e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati su di loro.
3. Dati trattati e dove stanno
3.1 Materiali di studio
Dispense in PDF, panieri di domande, testo estratto, riassunti, domande e risultati dei quiz sono conservati esclusivamente in un archivio locale dell'applicazione sul dispositivo. Non esiste alcun container cloud, alcuna sincronizzazione automatica e alcuna copia presso il Titolare. I file vengono scelti dall'utente tramite il selettore di documenti del sistema: l'applicazione non esplora la memoria del dispositivo e non chiede il permesso di accesso ai file.
3.2 Anagrafica dello studente
Nome, cognome e gli altri campi dell'anagrafica inseriti nelle Impostazioni sono facoltativi, restano sul dispositivo e servono soltanto a compilare l'intestazione delle relazioni di laboratorio che l'utente esporta. Il Titolare non li riceve.
3.3 Quaderno di laboratorio
Misure, note e relazioni delle esperienze restano sul dispositivo. L'esportazione (Markdown, CSV, RTF) produce un file che l'utente salva dove preferisce tramite il selettore di sistema.
3.4 Chiavi API e fornitori di intelligenza artificiale
Le funzioni AI (elaborazione delle dispense, quiz, chat, piano di studio automatico, lettura dei panieri) usano una chiave API che l'utente si procura e inserisce da sé, per uno o più fornitori: Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude. La chiave è conservata nell'archivio cifrato dell'applicazione, protetto dall'Android Keystore, e non viene mai trasmessa al Titolare. Quando l'utente avvia un'elaborazione, il testo delle dispense, le domande o i messaggi della chat vengono inviati in HTTPS direttamente al fornitore scelto, con la chiave dell'utente, e sono trattati secondo l'informativa privacy di quel fornitore. Il Titolare non è intermediario e non vede né le chiavi né i testi. Senza chiave l'applicazione funziona lo stesso per tutto ciò che non richiede l'AI.
3.5 Abbonamento
Il piano Pro (mensile o annuale, con eventuale periodo di prova) è venduto e gestito da Google attraverso Google Play Billing. Il Titolare non riceve dati di pagamento né numeri di carta: l'applicazione conosce soltanto lo stato tecnico dell'abbonamento (attivo o no), che verifica localmente. L'abbonamento si disdice da Google Play → Pagamenti e abbonamenti.
3.6 Dati tecnici
L'applicazione non usa SDK di analisi, pubblicità, profilazione o segnalazione crash, non registra identificatori del dispositivo e non ha un proprio server. Il solo permesso richiesto è l'accesso a Internet, usato per i fornitori AI scelti dall'utente e per Google Play. Non usa microfono, fotocamera, posizione o contatti. Un contatore locale delle elaborazioni AI giornaliere serve ad applicare i limiti del piano gratuito e resta sul dispositivo.
3.7 Backup automatico di Android
Se sul dispositivo è attivo il backup di Android, il sistema operativo può includere i dati dell'applicazione nella copia di sicurezza cifrata salvata nell'account Google dell'utente, come per ogni altra app. È una funzione del sistema, governata dalle impostazioni e dall'informativa di Google; il Titolare non vi ha accesso. L'utente può inoltre esportare da sé un file JSON del corso per spostare i dati su un altro dispositivo.
4. Base giuridica
Ai sensi dell'art. 6 GDPR il trattamento — che avviene interamente sul dispositivo dell'utente — si fonda sull'esecuzione del servizio richiesto e sul legittimo interesse dell'utente a usare gli strumenti di studio; l'invio di testi ai fornitori AI e la sottoscrizione dell'abbonamento avvengono solo su azione volontaria dell'utente.
5. Conservazione e cancellazione
I dati restano sul dispositivo finché l'utente non li cancella dall'applicazione o non la disinstalla. La disinstallazione elimina l'archivio locale; non esistendo copie presso il Titolare, i dati non sono recuperabili se l'utente non ha esportato un file. Il Titolare non impone tempi di conservazione.
6. Sicurezza
Archivio locale protetto dall'isolamento fra applicazioni di Android; chiavi API in archivio cifrato con chiave custodita dall'Android Keystore; comunicazioni con i fornitori AI e con Google Play esclusivamente in HTTPS; nessun server del Titolare coinvolto.
7. Trasferimenti extra-UE
Il Titolare non effettua trasferimenti. Gli unici possibili sono quelli decisi dall'utente verso il fornitore AI scelto (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic), regolati dalle condizioni e dalle garanzie di quel fornitore, e quelli verso Google per l'abbonamento, regolati dalle condizioni di Google Play.
8. Intelligenza artificiale
In conformità al Regolamento (UE) 2024/1689 (AI Act, art. 50) e alla Legge 132/2025 (art. 13): riassunti, quiz, correzioni, spiegazioni, piani di studio e risposte della chat sono generati da modelli di intelligenza artificiale di fornitori terzi e sono strumenti di supporto allo studio personale; possono contenere errori e non hanno valore accademico ufficiale. La responsabilità della preparazione resta dello studente.
9. Diritti dell'interessato
L'utente può esercitare i diritti degli artt. 15–22 GDPR (accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione, opposizione, portabilità) scrivendo a support@numas.eu. Poiché il Titolare non detiene dati dell'utente, la cancellazione si esercita direttamente nell'applicazione o disinstallandola; la portabilità con l'esportazione del file JSON del corso.
10. Modifiche
La presente informativa può essere aggiornata per modifiche normative o nuove funzioni; la versione aggiornata è pubblicata a questo stesso indirizzo con la data in testa.

In short. Numas Study for Android has no accounts, no servers of its own, no analytics and no advertising, and sends nothing to the Controller. Notes, questions, results, study plan, lab notebook and student details stay on the device. The only outbound communications are the ones the user starts: texts sent to the AI provider chosen with the user's own API key, and subscription handling by Google Play.

2. Nature of the application
Numas Study is a study-support tool: it organises lecture notes and question banks, generates quizzes with spaced review, summaries, grading and explanations with artificial-intelligence models, offers chemistry tools that work offline, a study plan and a lab notebook with report export. It is not affiliated with any university or e-learning platform, does not certify academic results and does not perform official assessments.
The application is intended for university and secondary-school students. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data about them.
3. Data processed and where it lives
3.1 Study materials
PDF notes, question banks, extracted text, summaries, questions and quiz results are stored exclusively in the application's local archive on the device. There is no cloud container, no automatic synchronisation and no copy held by the Controller. Files are chosen by the user through the system document picker: the application does not browse the device storage and does not request a file access permission.
3.2 Student details
Name, surname and the other fields entered in Settings are optional, stay on the device and are used only to fill in the header of the lab reports the user exports. The Controller does not receive them.
3.3 Lab notebook
Measurements, notes and reports of lab sessions stay on the device. Export (Markdown, CSV, RTF) produces a file the user saves wherever they choose through the system picker.
3.4 API keys and AI providers
AI features (processing of notes, quizzes, chat, automatic study plan, reading of question banks) use an API key the user obtains and enters themselves, for one or more providers: Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude. The key is stored in the application's encrypted store, protected by the Android Keystore, and is never transmitted to the Controller. When the user starts a processing, the text of the notes, the questions or the chat messages are sent over HTTPS directly to the chosen provider, with the user's key, and are handled under that provider's privacy policy. The Controller is not an intermediary and sees neither the keys nor the texts. Without a key the application still works for everything that does not need AI.
3.5 Subscription
The Pro plan (monthly or yearly, with a possible trial period) is sold and managed by Google through Google Play Billing. The Controller receives no payment data and no card numbers: the application only knows the technical status of the subscription (active or not), which it checks locally. The subscription is cancelled from Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
3.6 Technical data
The application uses no analytics, advertising, profiling or crash-reporting SDKs, records no device identifiers and has no server of its own. The only permission requested is Internet access, used for the AI providers chosen by the user and for Google Play. It does not use the microphone, camera, location or contacts. A local counter of daily AI processings enforces the free-plan limits and stays on the device.
3.7 Android automatic backup
If Android backup is enabled on the device, the operating system may include the application's data in the encrypted backup saved to the user's Google account, as for any other app. This is a system feature governed by Google's settings and privacy policy; the Controller has no access to it. The user can also export a JSON file of a course themselves to move data to another device.
4. Legal basis
Under Art. 6 GDPR, processing — which takes place entirely on the user's device — is based on the performance of the requested service and on the user's legitimate interest in using study tools; sending texts to AI providers and subscribing happen only on the user's voluntary action.
5. Retention and deletion
Data stays on the device until the user deletes it in the application or uninstalls it. Uninstalling removes the local archive; as the Controller holds no copies, data cannot be recovered unless the user has exported a file. The Controller imposes no retention periods.
6. Security
Local archive protected by Android's isolation between applications; API keys in an encrypted store whose key is held by the Android Keystore; communication with AI providers and Google Play exclusively over HTTPS; no Controller-owned server involved.
7. Transfers outside the EU
The Controller makes no transfers. The only possible ones are those decided by the user towards the chosen AI provider (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic), governed by that provider's terms and safeguards, and those towards Google for the subscription, governed by the Google Play terms.
8. Artificial intelligence
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act, Art. 50) and Italian Law 132/2025 (Art. 13): summaries, quizzes, grading, explanations, study plans and chat replies are generated by third-party artificial-intelligence models and are tools to support personal study; they may contain errors and have no official academic value. Responsibility for preparation remains with the student.
9. Data subject rights
Users may exercise the rights under Arts. 15–22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) by writing to support@numas.eu. Since the Controller holds no user data, erasure is exercised directly in the application or by uninstalling it; portability through the export of the course JSON file.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated for regulatory changes or new features; the updated version is published at this same address with the date at the top.
